How many players does it support?
Silverball Empire supports 2–4 players.
How long does a game take?
A game takes approximately 2–3 hours.
How complex is the game?
We estimate its complexity at about 3 out of 5 on the BoardGameGeek weight scale.
Can I playtest the game?
Yes! Please subscribe to the mailing list for playtesting news. If you live in the Vancouver, Canada area, there may be opportunities to playtest Silverball Empire.
What has the initial feedback been like?
Feedback has been mostly positive so far!
The game looks a lot like Terraforming Mars. Is it inspired by it?
Yes! Silverball Empire shares many mechanics with Terraforming Mars, including card drafting, tile placement, and scoring, and pays homage to it. The pinball theme and all 149 cards in the Empire Deck are unique to Silverball Empire.
Do I need to be a pinball expert?
The theme celebrates pinball, while the decisions centre on cards, resources, and building your strategy. This site will include a gameplay introduction as development progresses.
Can I buy the game yet?
Silverball Empire is in development. A release date, price, and purchasing options have not been announced here.
